Development and management of a $100 million PMO.

A long term engagement with a large government ministry with the goal of developing repeatable program management practices and operational solutions for the delivery of internal and provincial projects. The scope of work includes:
  • Analysis of current project and program management practices;
  • Establishing maturity levels using the PMI methodology;
  • Development of new delivery management standards and processes;
  • Improving oversight and monitoring of program progress;
  • Operational program management support for systems delivery.

Management of multi-milion RFP process

Engaged in creating RFP process at a large government ministry for a renewal of a contract for ongoing support of current and new applications:
  • Overall responsibility for creating and managing the RFP process;
  • Liasing with internal resources to ensure that the new RFP meets their requirements;
  • Strategic planning regarding the suite of applications that may be split into separate agreements;
  • Analysis on the current agreement to develop a suite of refinements to improve service;
  • Development and delivery of the evaluation plan and process for selecting a winning vendor.

Development of work management control system

A long-term multi-project Business Intelligence engagement at a large utility company with a focus on improvements of work management processes and management control. The projects include:
  • Analysis of existing business processes and standards followed by strategy analysis and gap analysis;
  • Business requirements gathering with key stakeholders regarding corporate level BI dashboard;
  • Feasibility studies and business process improvements proposals;
  • Planning, designing and performing of corporate roll-out and training of the new system.
